This is a responsibly sourced and traceable gemstone mined by a member of the Tanzanian Women Miners' Association (TAWOMA) in the Tanga region in north-east Tanzania as part of the Moyo Gemstones project.
It is a beautiful colour and cut, but it has a very tiny chip on the girdle and is priced accordingly.
