Ethical gem fair at Nottingham Jewellery School.

Following on from the Gemmology class on Saturday 13th June (please book separately for that one),  join us to learn about, browse, and buy fair mined and traceable gemstones to add to your work. There will be tea, cake, jewellers and gemstones. What could be lovelier.

Entry is free, and you can either sign up here (it helps us to know how much cake to make) or be spontaneous and show up on the day. No tickets or pre-booking required.

Aimed at students, makers, jewellers, and gemstone enthusiasts, this event, in collaboration with Nineteen48, specialises in fully traceable and responsibly sourced gemstones from carefully selected locations around the world.

At the gem fair, there will be a range of gemstones on display from several source countries, including Sri Lanka, Brazil, Australia, Tanzania, and the USA.

All the stones have traceability back to the mines through our transparent and supportive supply chains.

Stones on display will include sapphire, ruby, spinel, garnet, tourmaline, aquamarine, opal, amethyst, and citrine, along with many others.

The gemstones are priced, so suit all budgets, and there are always a few special offers that are only available at our in-person events.
