Trade Account Information

The trade area of our website is reserved for those working professionally within the jewellery and gemstone industry, allowing access to trade pricing and additional product information. If you are working or training within the gem and jewellery trade, please open a trade account with us.

Important Information

The Nineteen48 website is powered by Shopify, therefore it uses Shop to login. It is best if you use the email that is with your Shop account, which may not be your work email address. If you do use another email, it may not work at the checkout stage.

 

Who Is Eligible for a Trade Account?

Trade access is available to individuals who are actively involved in the jewellery and gemstone trade, including:

  • Jewellers and jewellery designers

  • Jewellery retailers

  • Freelancers working within the jewellery industry

  • Gemologists and gemstone professionals

  • Students currently enrolled in a jewellery-related course (in person or online)

If you are a student, please note this clearly on the sign-up form. Where the form asks for Company Name, please state that you are a student and include the name of your course and institution.

Existing Nineteen48 Customers

If you are an existing customer of Nineteen48, you will be granted trade access and able to shop stones at professional trade pricing and request appro, just fill out the form and we will approve you. 

New Trade Customers

If you are new to Nineteen48, we kindly ask that you provide clear information about your company and/or your role within the jewellery or gemstone trade when applying for a trade account. This helps us verify eligibility and ensure that trade access remains appropriate for our professional community.

All trade accounts are subject to approval.

Account Use & Responsibility

Trade accounts are for individual, professional use only. Please do not share your login details with others. Sharing account access may result in your trade account being suspended or removed.

Shipping Information

At present, we are only able to ship orders within the UK via the website.

If you would like stones shipped outside of the UK, please contact us directly by email (info@nineteen48.com) and we will be happy to discuss options with you.
